New features for VECTORBOX 4.08

Automatic SD / HD upscaling and downscaling and simultaneous broadcasting in both formats.

Video streaming over IP as a compressed stream ready for broadcast or as a series of files to an external Internet Service Provider. Supported formats include Windows Media and QuickTime.

Additional native support for IMX 30, 40 & 50 as well as MPEG4.

Print-to-Tape for printing content stored on VECTORBOX disk to VTRs or other devices.

Split line function. Interrupt programming with breaking news and also programmed events such as the Adhan with no frame loss.

Advanced VGA trimmer allows you to mark multiple in and out points in one piece of media and along a timeline. Automatic scene detection makes this ideal for inserting blocks of publicity or other clips into films etc.

Colour coding of clips in the catalogue and schedule for creating clear categories such as publicity & films etc.

Block management of groups of events in a schedule for easier insertion and management of publicity.

FIFO with back to back capture for time-delay on incoming feeds.

Audio pegging for adding audio to animated graphics and logos

New VECTORBOX playout with HD & SD Simulcasting

The new VECTORBOX 8000HD includes powerful new playout features designed for channels who need to mix standard and high definition video as well as file formats in their playout environment.

The new 8000HD video server features include support for all video, compression and metadata file formats for easy integration into any file-based workflow. Automatic upscaling & downscaling allows the user to playout a channel in either HDSDI or SDI from a mixed HD/SD schedule and also simulcast one channel of each using the same playlist and replacing the need for two separate video servers.
