V-BOX News uses an advanced software-based coding and decoding architecture that allows you to play any file, in any format. In the newsroom, this gives you absolute freedom to obtain your content from any source with continued support for new formats as they appear on the market.

Current formats include: Mpeg2 IBP and I-Frame, DVCAM, DVCPRO25, DVCPRO50 and MJPEG. All these may be mixed and played in the same rundown and thanks to MXF support, the operator simply drags and drops a clip into the rundown to play to air without the need to know which compression format is being used.
